Why a Sports Medicine Expert Built a "Social Battery" Protocol

The clinical reality is this: You cannot structurally fix a body that is stuck in "Fight or Flight."
With a BS in Exercise Science and a Minor in Sports Medicine, I spent years focused on the "hard" mechanics of the body—origin, insertion, kinesiology, and force. But after 12 years of clinical practice, I realized that the most advanced structural technique in the world is useless if the client's nervous system is "masking" or feeling overstimulated.
For my neurodivergent and LGBTQ+ clients, traditional massage environments can be a sensory minefield. Between the forced small talk, the bright lights, and the "performance" of being a "good client," the brain stays on high alert.
That’s why I created the Social Battery Protocol.
By letting you choose your interaction level—The Raven 🐦⬛ The Lantern 🕯 or The Addams 💀 I am removing the "Social Load." When your brain doesn't have to worry about the "politeness" of conversation, it can finally give your nervous system permission to drop into a restorative state.
In this sanctuary, we use the science of anatomy to treat the muscles, but we use the "Lore" of the environment to treat the person.
Structure + Safety = Restoration.
