How massage works pt. 1
As a massage therapist, I think and talk about muscles a lot. Learning anatomy was a huge part of my massage education. How often should I get a massage??
One of the most common questions I get from clients is “how often should I get a massage?” Knowing my knee-jerk reaction of “EVERY DAAAY!” isn’t usually a possibility (even for this very self-care-dedicated massage therapist) I usually follow up with the just as unhelpful, “it depends.” The truth is that every body is different and has different needs (and wants) when it comes to massage
